CEIP Incentives Available in Edmonton, Alberta

Making Energy Efficient Upgrades Easier and More Affordable For Edmonton Homeowners.

See how a home energy evaluation can benefit you on your home renovation journey. 

Homeowners in the Edmonton and surrounding area can now apply for the Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP) to finance energy efficient and renewable energy projects for their home. Energy Werx understands how Edmonton home owners use their home energy and can assisst with what upgrades could be made to improve their home energy efficiency  along with the CEIP.

Below are Edmonton's CEIP programs offered by each municipality:

St. Albert CEIP Project Incentive - $1,400 in incentives is offered by the City of St. Albert for completed projects. Availability is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The incentive will be applied directly to the Clean Energy Improvement Tax, reducing the total financing amount (not issued to the property owner directly).

Leduc CEIP Project Incentive - A $1,350 incentive is offered by the City of Leduc for completed CEIP Projects. Incentive availability is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to Participants who complete a CEIP Project. The incentive will be applied directly to the Clean Energy Improvement Tax to reduce the total Project financing amount, not issued to the property owner directly. Only one incentive of $1,350 is available per CEIP Project.

Leduc CEIP Electric Charger Rebate - When combined with a completed CEIP Project, the City of Leduc is providing an incentive for the lesser of $600, or up to 50%, of the installed cost of a new residential Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charging station (208/240V). Incentive availability is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to property owners who complete an eligible CEIP Project. As residential EV chargers are not eligible for CEIP financing, the incentive will be paid directly to the successful applicant, after installation, following a City inspection, and after the completion of a CEIP Project. Only one EV charger incentive is available per household. 

Devon CEIP EnerGuide Evaluation Home Evaluation Incentive - An EnerGuide Home Evaluation Incentive of $600 is available for the completion of a pre- and post-project EnerGuide Version 15 Home Evaluation. Incentive availability is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to participants who complete a CEIP project. The incentive will be applied directly to the Clean Energy Improvement Tax to reduce the total project financing amount.

Devon CEIP Upgrade Incentive - An Upgrade Incentive of $500 is available for completed CEIP projects. Incentive availability is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to participants who complete a CEIP project. The incentive will be applied directly to the Clean Energy Improvement Tax to reduce the total project financing amount. Only one CEIP Upgrade Incentive of $500 is available per project.
