What is an Energy Werx Assessment?

It is easy. It is simple. First, one of our Energy Werx Advisors will perform an initial energy assessment using prescribed methods to determine how much energy your home uses. The amount of energy used in your home each year is then determined by this examination. Once the examination is complete, we will develop an energy-efficient plan that will help you save energy and improve your home's comfort. We'll also calculate the rebates that are applicable. Two reports will be sent to you: 1) A summary of our findings, and 2) An overview of the upgrades that are available for your home.

What is a Greener Home Grant?

Canadian Greener Homes Grant is a program that will provide a rebate on eligible home retrofits to help residents in British Columbia and Canada become more energy efficient. The amount of your household's electricity consumption will determine how much rebate you receive. You can also receive up to $600 toward the total cost of your EnerGuide home evaluations.

Who is eligible?

You must be the primary resident of the B.C. mainland or an island to qualify for the Energy Werx home evaluation rebate. You can choose to have a detached, semi-detached, row, or mobile home. Before and after any renovation, you will need an energy assessment. At least one eligible energy-upgrade renovation was completed and copies of receipts were provided for all energy upgrades.
